Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, and Ahrefs Web Analytics, which is cookieless.

Analytics cookies are not set until you accept them. We use Google Consent Mode with storage denied by default; nothing is stored until you choose "Accept" in the banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage — declining stores no cookie at all.

To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again.

Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. Google may process this data outside your country; see Google's privacy policy.

The contact form

When you send a message we collect the name, email address, shop or company name, optional phone number and message you provide, together with your IP address, country and browser user agent (used to prevent spam and abuse).

These are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and emailed to us so we can reply. We keep submissions for up to two years, then they are deleted automatically. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Affiliate and outbound links

Some links to shops are affiliate links, which may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. We add tracking parameters to those links so the shop can attribute the visit. This never changes our editorial judgement — see our editorial standards.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes request data (including IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Our legal basis is your consent for analytics cookies, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping the site secure for contact-form data.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us via the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
